Simul-Sync function - the ability to play + separate simultaneous recording on channels. "Using a regular cassette, you can record the left channel of the stereo, then go back and, while playing back the left channel, synchronously record the right channel. The A108 also has a function where you can play stereo music through rear panel input jacks, add a third channel of stereo or mono microphones through the front panel jacks and record the result".
