Romania. 100 minutes is a remarkable and well-documented acoustic expedition begun by the Trei Parale group in mid-19th-century Bucharest and continued step by step in all the historical regions of Romania, carried out with the help of a panoply of peasant and fiddle instruments, on the rhythm and atmosphere of various musical forms, from doina to game melodies, from songs to ritual musical sequences. Through this double LP, the traditional music band manages to talk in the 100 minutes about Romania more than 100 years ago, but also about Romania today.
