Fiecare titlu nou cu care se îmbogăţeşte discografia violonistei Lola Bobescu mărturiseşte consecvenţa interpretei în selecţia pe care o impune repertoriului său. Această poziţie estetică stabileşte o linie evolutivă dintre cele mai interesante şi explică – în parte – locul din prim plan ocupat de Lola Bobescu în arta interpretativă mondială.
Personalitatea violonistei Lola Bobescu s-a dezvoltat pe un fond de calităţi excepţionale, purtând semnele generoase ale talentului românesc: sunete de o rară puritate, expresie sinceră, o căldură puternic comunicativă şi un solid simţ al măsurii. „Premier prix” al Conservatorului Naţional din Paris la vârsta de treisprezece ani, laureată – câţiva ani mai târziu – a Concursului Eugène Ysaye din Bruxelles, Lola Bobescu şi-a însuşit, în această primă fază a carierei sale, repertoriul cu implicaţii de virtuozitate, evoluând spre concertistica spectaculoasă.
Faptul că după succesele obţinute cu Wieniawski sau Lalo, violonista şi-a îndreptat studiul spre culmile Bach, Mozart şi Brahms este semnificativ. Înfiinţând orchestra de cameră „Les sollistes de Bruxelles” în fruntea căreia obţine mari succese în toată lumea cu repertoriul preclasic, Lola Bobescu confirmă convingerea sa în permanenţa valorilor reale ale muzicii, aspiraţiile sale spre zonele înalte ale artei.
