Cu acest legendar LP Seară de jazz cu Aura, a cărui primă ediție a fost lansată în februarie 1974, Electrecord inaugurează seria reeditărilor unor albume esențiale ale muzicii românești, pe formatele vinil, casetă audio și CD. În cei exact 50 de ani scurși de la publicare, acest disc al Aurei Urziceanu – acompaniată, în cele două după-amieze în care s-au realizat înregistrările, de Septetul București, un grup de formidabili instrumentiști – s-a transformat într-un obiect al venerației multor generații de iubitori ai muzicii din țară și străinătate. Seară de jazz cu Aura este definiția sound-ului jazz local de la mijlocul anilor ‘70 – intens, ludic, tandru, versatil și performant –, amplasat într-o grilă pe care regretatul Aurel Gherghel potrivit o numea, în textul de pe back cover-ul LP-ului din ‘74, „un jazz de inspirație și atmosferă românească”.
